UPDATE: Received yet another declined attempt to obtain a payment. Responded with ANOTHER email which will most likely be ignored and not responded to. Attempted to call the number, rang 4-5 times and went to voicemail, which is still full. I've made every attempt to be professional and handle this accordingly but obviously Express Fitness is lacking those skills. To all other members BEWARE, if I'm getting this response I'm sure you will too.
Went to Express for a couple years, enjoyed that it was usually pretty empty and I had the run of the room. Never had an issue with the staff or anything that would make me leave a negative review..... until recently.
In November I was given a heads up that the gym would be closing December 1st, so I started looking elsewhere. Come December 1st the gym was still open and I began attempting to reach out to the staff. Showed up during work hours, no one there. Called the number, voice mailbox was full. So I sent an email, which got no response. Fast forward a couple days and they decided to charge me $40 for membership which was 2x why I had been paying for the entire time I was there. Sent some more emails, attempted to call all with the same end result... silence.
I had to contact my bank and cancel all further charges from Express as I am no longer a member. It was such a good gym it's sad to see that it got so shady and unprofessional at the end
