  • I wish I could choose just POOR .DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS IN ANY LOCATION. I reserved a car 8 days in advance with a great rate. At that Time I was asked to guarantee the rate/reservation with a credit card. upon arrival, a clerk swiped my card and quite proudly(it seemed) said it was declined. The clerk insisted that I did not qualify for their credit check and there was nothing more he could do for me. There was no explanation. I was able to rent a car from Avis right next door( and have never been declined to rent a car?). It became obvious that Advantage simply did not want to honor a promised rate(Avis without a reservation was roughly double the cost). I am not a rich man and Advantage essentially shortened my vacation by 6 days and also made me incur flight change costs for my return flight. No Apology, No admission of wrongdoing!
