  • Um.. so they recently changed their prices to approximately $17.95 to the suburbs. But wait! There's more... an over $7 fuel surcharge?!?!?!?! On top of a transportation fee and baggage fee. False advertisement! On top of which, just this one semester (we're only mid-way through it now) I have experienced my bus coming OVER AN HOUR later than it should have. The woman on the phone kept saying 15-30 minutes. An hour and a half later.. they come. On top of, I went over for the third time to check if it was my bus and finally it was and the bus driver told me to hurry up. Me hurry up?!?! Who do you think you are? I have more horror stories from an accident between a new driver and a car (she didn't notice she hit him - he had to chase her down after she made a wrong turn). But I would not want to waste your time (unlike LEX)... Unfortunately the price is not much different from Suburban but at least Suburban's service is reliable. It's true LEX has more times than Suburban (which is why I have taken it so many times) but after seeing the $7 extra fee when they tried to trick me with a $17 ticket price (as advertised - is this even legal?!?) I had to write and complain. If you're going to charge me that price at least come on time. I never leave reviews but I HATE this company. The worst. For all you freshman, make friends with people with cars but if you have to take a bus, DO NOT TAKE LEX.
