Initially we had chosen to eat at this place solely based on Yelp reviews. I mean a place must be REALLY good if it rates 4.5 stars out of 5 correct?! Boy was I wrong.
When we first entered this place, I thought it was a pretty cool ambience. We entered on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy at all. Waitresses greeted you with cute kumonos (sp?) on and cool Japanese music was playing in the background.
The first thing I noticed is that there is no AYCE here?! What the heck is up with that? And to top it off, one specialty sushi roll is average about $16.00 PER ROLL! A spicy ahi
Hand roll was $6.25 per roll? You have got to be kidding me. Better be sprinkled with gold or something!
So quickly, my boyfriend and I decide on a lunch entree instead. Mind you, my boyfriend and Just came from the gym and expo so we are starving! We order 3 entrees for 2 of us and while we are ordering the third entree the waitress says something along the lines of "oi! More food?" I thought it was rude and then hilarious!
I did not get the waitresses name but she was probably the heaviest one there (just so that you can spot her, and not experience her rudeness.) Anyway, she delivers our 2 entrees and once she places my plate down she says "no more entree for you okay?" I had to kind of piece it together that she meant it was after 3 so no lunch special. She does not say anything about our third entree after like 10 minutes of not delivering it. So I proceed on asking her where it could possibly be and she rudely cuts me off and says "it's on the way!!"
After we are finished eating and she is cleaning our table she sees that I could not finish the tempura (2 onion tempura) and proceeds to tell me that I can request no onion next time! I cut her off and explain that I was full!
Horrible experience and to top it off, I got diarrhea after eating there! I'd rather eat at Sushi mon! They have all you can eat and not rude whatsoever.
