Booked a rental for a quick trip home to SC. Alamo was great on a previous rental in Atlanta so I figured to do the same thing in Charlotte. I put the reservation in the my boyfriend's name as he would be doing the driving. Opted for the "Drive Happy Deal" and also Skip the Counter service as this was offered at the location. Upon landing, we proceeded to the rental car area which was right across the street from baggage claim and ground transportation. Once there, we followed the signs to parking garage and since we had a late flight it was expected that there will be no attendant where the cars were which was ok as there were plenty of cars to choose from in the full size and SUV category. Upon walking around we spotted a 2017 Ford Fusion and hopped right in. My boyfriend got out to inspect the car and got back in. He printed the rental agreement, but like smart men, he left it at home in Chicago. So I told him I'm sure they can look it up from the email confirmation or something. When we got to the exit, the attendant was able to look up the agreement with his driver's license and just needed his credit card and we were on our way. Upon returning, it was a bit confusing with signage as some roads were close and therefore if you come from side roads you must ride through the terminal and circle back to see the rental car return exit. We pulled up to the Alamo return line and was greeted by an attendant that checked the fuel levels and printed out the receipt (There are plenty of gas stations by the airport but if it is early in the morning make sure you use credit/debit card because they are not open yet, this is NC) Very smooth. Will rent again.
