  • Are you getting any annoying pop-ups about the remote updating and the receiver being idle? Cannot stand them. Must be poor technology and programming on their part. These pop-ups are driving us nuts. They also show up in your recordings. We started to get these when we had the old Hopper replaced with a new version a few months ago. I've called more than once but it's business as usual for Dish. They told me that the pop-ups will eventually disappear. Oh, great!
