Dominion has been rechristened as Metro. Don't worry, though: the eccentric singing shelf stocker an the unpleasant check-out staff are still there.
After many weeks of chaos and construction, the layout of the store has been altered slightly. It's now harder to get back out the door without going through the cash. I was at the supermarket once when someone shoplifted a watermelon so I guess the entrance was a little too open before.
The bulk candy section is now GONE. That may have been a wise move: they were losing at least $5 a week on my in-store snacking alone. The RBC ATM is also gone. You can do cash back, though, if you can deal with the cashier rolling her eyes and sighing at you then struggling with the math.
I suspect that the prices have been raised a little. $3.09 seems like a lot for one litre of milk to me. What do you think?
