Oh, Asia de Cuba Scottsdale, how I hoped you would be better than I had expected. The decor is lovely (aside from the creepy rooster), but that's to be expected from the Mondrian. We were a party of 6 and were able to order all kinds of dishes. The only truly enjoyable items were the appetizers, which included the calamari salad, gyoza, scallops, and grilled shrimp. The entrees we ordered were nothing exciting. For the prices you pay, you'd expect to be dazzled. I distinctly remember that the seared ahi was bland - who ordered that? I did enjoy the fried rice side dish and highly recommend it. I can't recommend any of the entrees, but the menu does change from time to time. If you do go, go with a group and load up on appetizers.
