  • We had an acrimonious divorce. I moved service when I moved back down to the valley and 6 months later was sent a letter from a collections agency saying I owed century link 100 bucks, weird since I still had them. At the same time, they gigged me for late fees on an autopay, claiming my card declined (it didnt, it was the same card I'd been using then entire time.) trying to fine out why I was in collections without benefit of a notification resulted in dealing with bitchy, condescending coversations that got nowhere. Eventually I found out what the issue was (router needed returning) so fine, I owed that. Trying to rectify the late charge issue was similarly irritating, and more fruitless. On the bright side, I was able to fire them for another provider. Shame, prism was unreliable but had a few obscure channels that I liked, and a pretty good amount of HD. I had to replace all three boxes and the modem in the 9 months I had them.
