  • Overall, Getting my wisdom teeth was a pain but it had nothing to do with Dr. Letelier. If anything, I honestly believe my experience would have been HORRIBLE if it wasn't for him. I was lucky enough to get fitted into his super busy schedule due to a cancellation. So definitely book in advance but don't be discouraged by the idea of a waitlist. I was on the waitlist for like 4 hours before I got called back. His staff are generally all very friendly, except for one nurse who did not believe me when I told her the anesthesia was wearing off...more to come on her... the front staff are polite and professional. And 99% of the back office staff were very comforting and pleasant. The actual day of surgery was a breeze. I went in for x rays, the Dr came in and explained everything to me.He is one of the nicest people you will meet. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. He is not intimidating and tries to get to know you. I had mentioned I had a grad school interview shortly after the procedure and when I came back he asked how it went etc. He is also very knowledgeable which definitely puts you at ease. I went to see their finance person to pay the bills and then off to surgery. Admittedly, I am a bit of a wimp so they let me husband come with me and stay with me until I was out. Next thing I knew I was on my way out to recovery, which could have been smoother were it not for that nurse!! I told her I could feel what she was doing (changing gauze) and she said "no you dont." When i started to cry from discomfort, she told me to stop so that mommy and daddy wouldn't worry. I was there with my husband...i didnt appreciate her tone one bit. Once the Dr came out he quickly gave me more pain meds and told me that everything went well. I was then wheel-chaired to my car and home I went. I came back for my follow up appointment earlier than was expected because I was having some pretty bad pain and they were very accommodating. They gave me an appointment the day I called and I felt much better afterwards. Dr Letelier explained why I was having the pain and fixed me right up. No needs to just throw pain meds at me. There was also no extra fee or hassle for coming in for an extra appointment. Overall, I would recommend this office to anyone who needed to have oral surgery. I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth out and my experience with them definitely eased all my troubles.
