  • FYI, MGM does not comp drinks when gambling at the bar slots. Wish I would have known this before hand. Us locals are pretty used to throwing a twenty in the machine and having at least one comped drink. The bartender was pretty rude about it too when we ordered a couple of shots and were shocked at the $45 total. When I asked if drinks are comped on the slots, I was met with a rude response "No we don't do that around here." I'm told that you still get comped drinks out on the casino floor if you want to wait around for a cocktail waitress. I know more casinos are leaning towards play requirements for comps, but I didn't realize any were doing ZERO comps. Some machines spit out free drink tickets once in a while, but my $80 in the machine didn't spit out a single one. It's cool, rules are rules and I get that, but he was straight up rude at the bar.
