  • This is a great Vons. Although there is an Albertson's much closer to my house, if I find myself in the area, I stop in Von's to pick up groceries. They do tend to be more expensive than other stores, but you can find pretty awesome deals quite often. The store is clean and well kept. It does have more of an upscale feel to it. All of the staff members I've encountered are always friendly and helpful. One thing I would suggest: check your receipt before leaving the register. The last few times we've been there, they have charged us full price for items that were on sale (ex: bagels and soda). They were quick to fix the error, and it's not technically the cashier's fault, but it's disappointing and makes you feel like they are trying to get a few extra dollars out of you.
