| - Foie gras, foie gras, foie gras. What can I say, almost every dish has foie gras in it!! This is heaven for a meat lover (which i am)...vegetarians beware -- do not come here as it's not for you.
We had a group of 6, the table was a bit slow in front of us so we had to wait 30 min beyond our reservation time, but they were nice and gave us a free round of beer. Kudos.
Now to the food, we had the maple ham,
duck in a can, foie gras poutine, stuffed pied du cochon with fg, dumplings, foie gras bolognese pasta, and another dish I can't remember the name of, but it definitely had foie gras in it.....
I would say a must is the maple ham (which is a special during Christmas time, very very succulent), the stuffed pied du cochon with fg, and the foie gras poutine.
The foie gras bolognese was a special, would've been much tastier if it was hot; pasta was a bit cold. What was cool about this was that they cooked it in front of you on a thick slab of cheese. They first put the pasta into the cheese slab, put hot water, then put the bolognese sauce on, and then the foie gras. As they plated it, the scraped a lot of cheese off...so you get a very cheesy dish, literally.
Overall, everything was very tasty. For the price, you definitely get a lot of foie gras as well....so well worth it!
