This tiny cart next to the YMCA made me realize how good fruit is mixed into ice cream. Nomadic Ice Cream offers a very unique twist to the ice cream pallet. The best part of the ice cream here is that it's basically created right on the spot. There's no need to guess if the ice cream has been sitting in a freezer for a week. The batches of cream are made on that day. There's obviously pros and cons to this approach. The biggest con to it is that the little tiny truck can take a very long time before you get your ice cream. I waited behind 4 people and it took over 30 minutes to finally get my order. However, the wait was well worth it. The mixture of fruits, nuts, and other toppings that are literally diced and chopped right into your ice cream mixture helps add a unique and personalized flavor to your dessert.
The location could be better, but kudos to the owner in starting his own little business. May he find success and fortune overtime.
