  • Remember when you were a kid helping your dad wash your dad's 1976 Mustang with the old bucket and sponge? No? Me either... we had a mini van. I can say expertly that Windy City is the best dollar per dollar hand wash in Vegas without any questions. Formerly I was one of those OCD guys in the neighborhood spending x amount of hours in their garage, spending all their free time on online forums about car detailing, getting car polishers for their birthday, building a small clientele, and posting pictures for others to rate my work or your supply stash. Oh times were good, but sometimes life takes over and you can't take care of your baby the way you want to. Point is that Windy City are the only people I'll trust to take care of my car and the smaller details, which makes the biggest difference. At Windy City they are 100% indoor hand wash, that means your wheels are cleaned by hand, not by a rough blue brush. The only brush touching your car is the small lug nut brush, they don't even use one to clean the wheel well. That's true dedication to being a true hand wash experience. What that means for you is that your car is taken cared of, parts of the car you probably won't even notice, but take comfort that your baby was truly taken cared of. The word is catching up with how legitimate Windy City is so expect a wait time since the service is first come first serve. I drop off and come back later. Best thing is that when you come back there, there is someone whose there, ready to clean up even the nit pickiest of things in case they were missed (doubt it). Prices are a bit higher than other businesses in Vegas, but the quality standard is significantly higher, so instead of a couple of "OK" washes, get yourself a few excellent ones.
