  • I don't know why this place has such high stars. Nail tech Tony was rude, and the way he shapes nails isn't skillful. He insulted my previous acrylic set, then started working on my nails and halfway through tried to say he was going to charge me an extra $5 for my fill because 'he have to fix a lot" even though I came in with an intact set, no broken nails or cracks. They were just grown out and needed to be buffed and filled, which according to every other nail tech I've ever been to - is the definition of a standard fill. I told him I wouldn't be paying any extra and he backed down, but it made every additional moment spent with him even more awkward. The end result of the set he did is so wide and thick, and they clearly thin out their polishes because whatever cheap topcoat he put over the color is already gummy and sticky... and I got these done less than 48 hours ago on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, the color selection is poor. They hardly have any colors, you cant check out the bottles before you select the color, you have to just pick the color off the printed acrylic tips they have in little baskets they pass around. It's weird. They probably don't want people to see the bottles before they paint your nails, because if you could see them you would see how sheered out the color is from watering it down with acetone. I will say I enjoyed the pedicure, but I was talked in to a more expensive pedicure with a 'reflexology' massage, which felt just like a regular pedicure. Unimpressive, but the massage chairs they have in the salon are nice. The only reason I gave this place more than one star is I would probably return for a basic pedicure, but won't pay for the extras.
