Came out tonight for dinner at The Cabin restaurant at Mario's. I guess they have a new chef, I got a picture. Relaxed atmosphere but very nice décor. We enjoyed the rustic surroundings.
Ordered the eggplant appetizer which was delightful. The sauce had nice chunks of onion in it and tasted very fresh.
Ordered the special for the entrée, I had the walleye with the blood orange sauce. My husband ordered the prime rib. I tried both and felt they were well seasoned and just really hit the spot. Fish ridiculously tender and I have never had a sauce like that before. Prime rib seemed like a standard to me. Hubbie liked it very much.
Bread pudding for dessert.
Just a very easy place to be, enjoyed our server although I did not catch her name. The Cabin is a special place, we will be back!
