| - This review is long overdue. I've been back at this speakeasy bar 3X whenever I'm in Vegas. It's located inside Container Park in Downtown LV. As you can imagine, this bar is tiny because it's built within the confines of a shipping container. I think they only have 8 stools inside but they also have outdoor seating. Don't let this small shack fool you. The mixologists here are very experienced serving the finest cocktails in downtown. It's definitely a must stop.
I absolutely love the atmosphere here when you walk in. No attitude, just make your way to the bar, order a cocktail from the menu or have the bartender make you a custom one base on your preferred alcohol. It doesn't matter whether you like gin, vodka, whiskey or something else, they will take their time and make the drink in front of you. And I can honestly say that I've never had a bad drink at this place.
On my last visit, I tried the "Blame it on the A-A-A-A Aperol" (Aperol, Espolon Reposado, Grapefruit-Lavender syrup, Scrappy's Firewater, Sierra Nevada Otra Vez, Tajin Rim). What a refreshing potent cocktail! The other one was the "Sippin' on Gin and Spruce" (Gin Mare, pressed Carrot juice, Bay Leaf syrup, Absinthe, Spruce oil). Again, another well-made and strong cocktail. No complaints here :) I've also tried their mules when I first came here back in January. That's why I kept coming back because they were so good and not watered down. Plus the fact the average price for a drink is only about $13. If you prefer your cocktail straight up, they also have aged Bourbon, Whiskey and Rye stored in barrels displayed at the bar.
I highly recommend this speakeasy bar for anyone who likes fancy cocktails without the fancy price tag. Its low key, tucked away inside the park and the bartenders are super nice.
