How to eat at Penn Ave Fish Company:
1. Walk-in to order counter
2. Look down at sushi menus on counter if you want sushi
3. Look straight ahead if you want to order cooked fish, and other seafood
4. Pick a drink in the coolers if you want
5. Pick a table, and sit down
6. Someone brings order for you (no table number or anything, they just know)
7. Deliciously devour your dish
8. Remember to pay on your way out***
We tried the Pretty Girl(Lady?) roll and it was really good, and the fish was really fresh. We also each tried the Fried Cod Sandwich with the side of Cole Slaw and Jalapeno chips. The sandwich was on heavenly Ciabatta, which Penn Ave bakes themselves. The cod was fresh, and portion was generous, though not a fan of the -breading- it was inconsistent all over.
Sushi was definitely better than the cod sandwich. I almost walked out without paying because the system was so counter intuitive.
