| - I don't like posting negative reviews because I believe the majority of what goes into the culinary arts is subjective since it's weighted so heavily on taste, but my experience here warranted it. We dined here Tuesday night I believe, I ordered the oven-roasted Scottish Salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the grilled lamb burger. Unfortunately, there was no real flavour in my salmon dish, and the lamb burger came with a block of goat cheese which just dwarfed any other flavors the lamb burger may have had. I'm no expert, but that seems like such an amateur mistake to make, not knowing how to balance flavors.
In addition to that, service was incredibly slow although they did try to make up for this by getting another waiter to get us started with drinks. As an aside, the tap water that they eventually brought to our table had an odd taste. Initially I figured maybe that was what tap water tastes like in Nevada so I didn't think I had cause for complaint, but after a more pleasant experience at another restaurant in Caesar's Palace, I know that this clearly isn't the case.
Calling this place overpriced would be an understatement and what we ordered was so devoid of flavor that this whole experience can, at best, be summed up as spectacularly underwhelming. I left the restaurant supremely annoyed at the less-than-average dining experience offered at such premium prices. Certainly not worth the 70 bucks for two that they charged, in my opinion.
