Long day of meetings, dazzled by too many dinner choices at Yonge and Dundas and starving, I found myself in Bahn Mi Boys. They take the traditional vietnamese submarine sandwich and sex it up in all the right ways. I had the kalbi beef sandwich: Korean short rib, kim chee, grated carrots, cilantro and magic sauces. The hot options were: not, mild, spicy and very spicy. Next time I'll opt for very spicy. Just spicy had bark but no bite.
Nearby tacos looked terrific, kimchi fries looked like a must-try, at least once. Service was fast and friendly. Big sandwich and a drink came to less than 10 bucks. Way to go, boys.
