  • Went here twice the week of thanksgiving. I'd driven by many times and they are always hopping. First night we went was on a Monday night and we discovered it is their meat raffle night and money draw night. The bar was packed but we had no problem getting a couple of drinks. We went back on Wednesday night and got a table closer to the bar. The bartender was really nice and the owner (I think) brought over a plate with cheese and sausage and crackers for us and thanked us for coming. This is a really neat, dive bar kind of a place. I can tell they have a good regular following and I'm sure we'll go back every now and then. If you are in Monona check it out.
