  • A year ago I gave Joe Fresh a 5 star, but for some reason was not as pleased this October. Where they were investing in bright coloured basics last fall like cotton blend T's with some spandex added, they are now going to all cotton tissue t's which are cheap but nowhere near the quality. I'm missing last year's 80.00 all leather ankle boot which are still in excellent condition a year later. They seem to be cashing this in for synthetic boots that mimic sorel. I'm also missing their innovative tunics and jumpers to layer over and under-much of the stock has resorted to the more safe standard black and grey theme colours, with black leather jackets with about 5 different metal zippers and buttons, grey/brown fake fur vests, short black skirts with leather trim etc. Trendy, but nothing I haven't seen in other stores. But for bras, skinny pants, and leggings, I still give them 5 stars-just not seeing enough moving beyond this to rate them a five in this review-yet. I am saving my money and putting hope into November that they will bounce back and take on the other brand name stores with their usual gusto!
