Hailo can be convenient when cabs are available. When it's 2:30am and you keep requesting over and over and OVER again, but nothing comes up, not so great. I was left on Ossington for what seemed like forever because no cabs were available. It was raining too, so that sucked big time. I walked to Queen, continuously refreshing my request only to hail a non-Hailo cab. So annoying. Pretty much defeats the purpose of so-called "convenience".
Regarding promo codes: I entered codes and Hailo wiped them all out without any warning or explanation. How's that for customer service? I even wrote them but received no response.
Uber has WAY better customer service.
