| - I wanted to try this place out simply because of the way the owner has treated my friend "Alison K." Maybe I'm crazy, but I find something truly fascinating about owners who act like children when someone writes an honest, negative review about the establishment. Instead of having a tantrum, why not take the criticism to heart and make sure no other customers walk out of your business unhappy in the future? Whatever. So, when visiting Madison recently, I decided to visit this place. Bad idea.
The first warning sign came when I tried calling. I'm assuming you guys have hired a person to answer the phones, so maybe you should check up on them every so often. I called three times and let it ring, nothing. No one picked up.
I don't know why I was so into going there, but things weren't better once I finally arrived at the place. It might be beneficial for your business to have someone actually acknowledging people who walk in. Having your staff congregating together, ignoring the foot traffic that comes in? If you are going to get people to sign up for Yelp to write fake 5 star reviews to make people think you are some kind of legit, quality salon, you should probably put the same amount of effort into making sure there is a warm, fully-functioning body behind the front desk.
So yeah, one star for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I couldn't even get in because buffoons are running the place.
