Absolutely adored this little hidden gem - and I DO mean hidden. I live at the Apartments just a hop skip away, and I was definitely still a bit befuddled about how you entered. Don't let the confusion steer you away from a really delicious cappuccino, though! You'll see the sign and a few steps up there's a back door that kind of looks off limits. It's not! You're welcome to enter! Come on in!
There's a neat chalkboard in the entrance way where you can publicly declare your existence, love, or, in my case - just draw a really awkward picture of a coffee mug with steam coming out of it. Oops.
Open the next door and you'll find yourself in a cute and authentic little relaxation area equipped with a leather couch, huge bags of coffee beans and some reading materials. There is just one more door now that separates you from your first sips of damn good coffee and espresso.
The owner and his wife were there and they were super friendly and conversational with questions we had about their business. They're mostly wholesale but they just do the little cafe for fun and enjoyment. My cappuccino was seriously perfect from the temperature to the frothiness of the foam to the cute symbol to the perfect vanilla flavor. Not too sweet but just enough to sooth the blunt taste of espresso.
Frank Sinatra sung it best - "They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil" - come give some of that tasty roast a try!
