  • It would seem like Mother Tuckers should be a great restaurant. They have an interesting take on interior design and serve home-cooked style meals, mostly barbecue style. So why did I leave Mother Tuckers unhappy? Probably because I was completely broke afterward. I couldn't believe the extremely expensive pricing they had on almost everything. The food to the drinks, everything seemed overpriced to me. The only plus about Mother Tuckers was the salad bar. With each meal comes an all-you-can-eat salad. They have a giant bar with a whole bunch of different salad ingredients... even water chestnuts! That was the only redeeming quality about this place. Other than that, our service wasn't the greatest. It seemed as though our waitress was neglecting our table, even though we had about 12 people there. She was nice enough to split the tab up into couples for us. So, I probably won't be going back to Mother Tuckers anytime soon. As much as I enjoyed the salad bar, the food wasn't tasty enough for me and it definitely wasn't worth those prices. It's unfortunate because it seems to have all the makings of a decent restaurant.
