So, I've written a lot of reviews on Mexican food in various places in search of the nostalgia that comes from growing up in California. I went to this restaurant with a coworker that saw it on TV and she raved about the Guacamole that had pomegranate seeds in it and I thought to myself.. "Here we go, another failed attempt at Mexican food."
I was so wrong, I had the guacamole and although the pomegranate seeds were in there this tasted like an authentic dish. So from there I went all in.
I also had the Chiles en Nogad, mainly because I like apricots and was curious about how it was all going to work. I can tell you that was one of best plates I've had. Everyone ordered different foods and no one was disappointed.
The service was fast and most of all pleasant and my coworker earned exponential cool points for picking this restaurant. Chef I salute you!
