  • I lived in Las Vegas for 13yrs now and can count on 1 hand how many shows I have attended in all the years. BAZ, I've seen the ads, the commercials and kept telling myself I really want to see that show. I love Romeo and Juliet, a mandatory read in high school, Moulin Rouge and the Great Gatsby, 3 Love Stories wrapped up in 1 show. The cast is AWESOME, the dancing is GREAT and the singing is PHENOMENAL. The actors and actresses in this show can actually sing and dance, yes actual TALENT still exist. The leads of the show Jay and Daisy, Satine and Christian and of course Romeo and Juliet did a good job BUT Maestro was the SHOW. A very lively character, played his part well, a big personality that shines with the character. Intimate venue, the cast interacts with the audience, which I like a lot. It keeps you engaged and interested with the. The cast members literally sit on your lap, making the audience apart of the show as well....so it'll be kind of embarrassing for you to fall asleep and then a cast plops down on your lap. Actually I would love to witness that, sorry I have to be honest, it would be funny TO ME, but back to the review. The seating options are a couple of tables and chairs seated on the stage, chairs and tables seated at the stage, vip couch seating and then stadium seats towards the back of the venue. We sat stage front, and really enjoyed it. n AWESOME show, I got teary eyed, there were a couple of times I had to catch myself b/c I almost went into an UGLY FACE cry but that's how good the show. This is money well spent, a good time indeed. FRIENDLY NOTE: If you have not seen the following movies, you should see them before seeing BAZ. Don't get me wrong, the storylines of the show are very wasy to follow along, but if you know the movies and/or books you just relate to the show a lot more. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself, I know all the movies and LOVE them all. I found myself going back and fourth from what was happening on the on the stage to actual scenes from the movie. (Romeo + Juliet "1996" that's where the wings come from, Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby which happens to be on NetFlix right now. You how I feel, this is just MY opinion...go check it out for yourself and see what you think
