Went here for dinner on a Sunday night and the place was pretty quiet. They have an extensive wine collection and it was half off some bottles on the night we went which was a great deal. The service here was great. Our waitress was very polite, made good suggestions and came to check on us. However she never refilled our waters even after asking for it so that was kind of a bummer.
The food however, was mediocre at best. We had the cheese plate, foie gras, green beans and pork belly. The best by far was the green beans, crunchy and fresh but they were sort of swimming in a delicious but soupy peanut sauce. The cheese was great as it should be in Wisconsin and they give you good portions. We split 3 for two of us and that was more than enough. The foie gras was good no complaints. The pork belly was very heavy and not in a good way. It is a large portion of pork belly but is mostly just a two inch slab of fat. The skin wasn't crispy and it tasted like it should have been cooked a bit more so some of the fat could have been rendered out. We didn't finish this because it was just way too fatty. All in all this is a good place to get drinks but the food was a bit disappointing.
