Four stars for my manicure, two stars for my pedicure. That leaves my overall rating right in the middle at a solid three stars.
Glossy Nails was chosen out of pure convenience. They open at 9 am on a Saturday. In Las Vegas. I know! That's super early bird for Sin City. Get there right as they open and there's almost no wait at all.
I sat in a massage chair for awhile while they staffed up. NBD, there were plenty of lady magazines to read, albeit from 2015. But luckily, I rarely get my hands on Cosmo or Vogue, so never too late to catch up on fashion and pop culture.
Pedicure was OK. There was some hair in the water bowl and even though I had the polish on my feet for a good 40 minutes while I got my gel manicure, it was all sorts of smushed by the time I got home.
Gel manicure looks great. I got quite a few compliments on it while in LV. It did require four coats of polish and a last-minute sparkly addition. The brand of polish wasn't one I was familiar with and it was very, very thin.
Total cost was $85 with tip. I probably wouldn't go back, but it's nice to tip the people who try their best.
