rev:text	I needed a place close to home and every other salon said by appointment only. The reviews were mostly good so I thought I'd give this place a try. Called them to see if they were able to do a gel manicure within the next hour and the lady told me to come down in 15 minutes and she can do it for me. So I arrive and the place is immaculate. Everything is so organized, very clean and well kept. I was greeted and was told to sit at the far table. Maio I think was her name and she was very nice. She was very gentle and apologized if she felt she was being too rough. She gave me pallets of colors to choose from and I was amazed and the variety. When actually painting my nails with the gel she kept telling me that I wasn't laying my thumb flat enough so it wasn't drying. I ended putting my arm in an awkward position just to lay it completely flat. Even then it wasn't dry enough, and that's because she let me "set" my polish in the light for only 30 seconds for each coat. She kept telling me that's enough. When I was finished I left only to notice that my thumb was ruined. So I went back and she happily fixed it. Not but the next day it was already chipping at the tips. Within 5 days I have chunks of gel polish missing from my nail. I honestly went in with such high hopes of finding a closer nail place, but after such poor quality. I'm sorry but I won't be coming back. I can't pay for something that doesn't last 24 hours that should last at least 2 weeks.
