| - I was visiting Toronto on business, and I plan to buy a piano at some point in the next couple of years. I contacted the manager here and asked if I could check out their pianos.
They happily agreed, showed me all sorts of fine pianos -- Bluthners, Seilers, Steinways, Baldwins, a Sauter, among others -- and let me try them all out for at least a good hour or so. At all times I was treated *extremely* politely, they even apologized to me on the grounds that the selection was not what it usually is. It was good when I visited, I guess that usually it is even better!
I didn't ask too much about pricing, but from what I gathered their prices are quite competitive (especially while the Euro exchange rate is favorable). They mentioned that they ship to the US and can accept payment in US dollars with no problems -- just in case I'm tempted to go back with my pocketbook open. :) But there was no pressure at all.
Fantastic experience, great instruments, and I was treated extremely well. If you have any interest in buying a piano, and are in Toronto (even temporarily), I highly recommend a visit to Remenyi.
