  • DO NOT SHOP THERE. THESE STAFFS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, & UNRELIABLE. The reason why I am saying this is because I am a huge apple fan, and a user. I have purchased both my macbook and ipad from this store. When I purchased my macbook in DEC of 2010, OSX tiger was available, however my system was running on just regular OSX, the staff never offered or mentioned upgrading my brand new macbook to OSX tiger. In addition to that, the staff sold me a macbook AIR laptop casing (unprofessional?) when I opened the packages at home I realized that the casing does not fit my laptop and had to drive back to Fairview for an exchange. A yr later when I thought my laptop was not turning on, I booked an appointment with a genius, I waited 1hr45min for a genius to come help me, when she came, we figured out that it was my charger that was not working within a minute, so I asked her then if she could take a look at my iphone, and she said to me "I do not have time for this, you need to book another appointment, I have other customers waiting, we are behind today." I thought that was rude because obviously I know they are behind because I had to wait 1hr45mins. This lady left me and went to chat with a coworker for the next 20 minutes. SO, I made an appointment for shortly after for my sticky key on my iphone, and the guy that served me although had a good attitude, he did not do anything for me but teaching me how to use icloud. Now my warranty has expired and I would have to $190 to get a replacement phone when I could have gotten it for free with warranty. Further on, yesterday I bought my ipad there, (why do I keep going back? because I would rather drive for 20 mins than 35 mins to yorkdale mall) When I opened my ipad there was a scratch on the back, not to mention I was almost home when I realized as a student i was supposed to get $50 itune card, but was never offered. So I called in, and they said I have to come into the store to get my card (I thought they were advanced, why not just credit my account?) So I DROVE BACK AGAIN for the 2ND TIME now after purchase to exchange my ipad and get my $50 card. The lady that sold it to me apologized and gave me my $50 itunes card and an exchange. I'm not cheap, but gas is 1.30/L, and if every time I have to drive back and forth twice to buy something, I'd rather just buy nothing at all. DO NOT GO THERE, THESE STAFFS DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING, THEY DON'T CARE AND THEY SEND YOU OFF UNPREPARED AND UNFINISHED. YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE MANY TRIPS TO GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, STAY AWAY. THESE PEOPLE ARE BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL.
