So this is the review of our recent emergency visit to York Central Hospital. I won't bore you with the details of it, but the main thing is that the visit itself was very peasant. The staff at this hospital is great, all from the triage nurse, reception staff, doctors and attending nurses treat you with respect and try to cheer you up. Our doctor Dr. Darryl Gebien was very friendly, did not keep us waiting for long, he listened to our complains and ordered the necessary tests right away, he then explained us the preliminary diagnosis and let he nurse take care of the tests. The tests and the x-rays are uploaded into the online system so results are available fast. And once that was done and the doctor's diagnosis confirmed we received all the necessary prescriptions and Dr. Gebien even made us an appointment with a suggested specialist doctor for a follow up. Overall I am very impressed with the service we received at York Central. And if the doc really thought that it was ridiculous for us to come to the emergency he did not show a slightest sign of it.
P.S. The busiest time in the emergency is evening and night from Friday to Saturday, that's when all the drunk and feisty come in, so beware.
