| - This place goes by "Lionesse Beauty Bar" now, but it's still the same scam it was before. They have a ton of SUPER aggressive employees that stand outside the store every day FOR THE ENTIRE DAY handing out samples - which wouldn't be an issue if it was just handing out samples, but no. If you take one, you're in for it. There's no politely declining, they just keep pushing and pushing for you to follow them into the store to look at their ridiculously overpriced garbage products. They will literally tell you whatever it is you want to hear to try to get you to buy something. When I went in I was told the products were all-natural, and when I looked at the ingredients and started pointing out the fact that they were absolutely NOT all-natural, suddenly the story changed and it was, "Oh, well they're the highest quality products from Japan." One poor man had gotten duped into coming into the store by one of the pretty young girls standing out front, and I overheard their conversation as she was applying cream to his face - apparently they were treating his redness, and he said he was feeling a lot of heat from the cream. She responded, AND I QUOTE, "Yes, the heat will activate the face muscles." Total bull. I left before I saw the results, but anyone can tell you that adding heat to skin that is already inflamed is a terrible idea. This place seems to be almost universally hated by the other businesses in Yorkville too, and I can see why. People literally cross the street to avoid these guys, so the neighboring businesses must be losing it. Oh, and by the way, crossing the street won't help - they will literally shout across the street at people and APPROACH PEOPLE IN THEIR CARS if they're unlucky enough to get stopped in traffic. Unbelievable. I've been told that they regularly claim to be associated with other skincare spas in the area, I guess to try to tag on to their successes. And google "Forever Flawless reviews" - apparently they're KNOWN for keeping people's credit card information and processing random charges at later dates. Cute. Honestly, this "business," if you can call it that, is a total blight on what is otherwise a lovely part of Toronto. They don't know a THING about skincare and blatantly conduct themselves like the absolute scam they are. Don't step foot in this place, seriously.
