  • I have to start by saying that I was stoked to see that this place was here and then totally forgot about it. This place is ok. I don't know if I'm excited or heeved that they do juice and skin services. I have to think on that. I think that if you are a high end spa in a large facility it's perfectly acceptable. Moving on: juices are expensive. Which I accept that cold pressed juice is expensive but whenever I go to nekter they make it on the spot, pressing those juices right before your very eyes. I don't feel as guilty knowing that a grocery basket of produce is in my 16 ounce cup. I ordered my juice and the girl working stepped out from behind the counter and grabbed it out of their not sexy, not branded, and un-staged tiered open cooler. Humph. Ok. It was is a jar that looked like it could have once contained pickles and they managed to skillfully remove the label without leaving a residue. On to the acai bowl that the child got under the guise of breakfast ice cream. She scooped the acai "ice cream" from a dip case...maybe I've never paid attention at nekter but I feel like again, they are whipping that stuff up fresh. But I could be wrong--so I can't discount this place for my lack of knowledge. It was par for the acai bowl course. Fruit and was sweet and fresh. I went to give them their pickle jar back and they don't accept it. If you bring it back on your next visit they will give you $1 off. Big whoop. I might be back to give them another chance but I'd probably rather trek to nekter and give them my business.
