| - As a grocery store, they are pretty good. They also have a vey clean store (they have won awards for being the cleanest store). My review is about their pharmacy. We moved to Surprise in June and I decided to start using them as my pharmacy, that way I could earn more fuel points and they were installing a new drive thru. The first 3 months things were fine, I would drop off my prescription and wait for it to get filled. The staff seemed competent but not friendly, but it was ok. This month I dropped off my prescription at the drive thru, I was told come back in an hour to get it. I actually waited 3 1/2 hours (it was around dinner time), only to be told I was too early and my insurance would not pay for it. I asked the pharmacy cashier why didn't anyone call and just let me know? My insurance company was already closed by then and it didn't make sense that it was too early. I asked the cash price and decided I would deal with the insurance the next day myself. She was pretty rude and had this deer in the headlights look the entire time she was speaking with me (I believe she was perhaps new or not familiar with anything pharmacy related). I told her go ahead and fill it, she said I would have to wait another hour. An hour and a half later, I called them only to be told I just cannot get it filled for 3 more days, even with paying cash. I, again, asked why did they not call me to let me know, she said the pharmacist was busy. So, after a five and a half hour wait I said I would just be coming to get it and take it somewhere else. Setting correct expectations and at least one interaction with this mystery pharmacist could have make my experience much better. I will not be using them again.
