My friends and I ended up staying here for Labor Day weekend. First off, it's supposedly remodeled but I did not see anything modern or hip about this hotel. The rooms did not have enough lighting and it seemed very dim in our room. Second, the taxi line is absolutely ridiculous. Every 5 mins one taxi driver would arrive so you can imagine how frustrating it was trying to get somewhere from this hotel. Third, our last night around 4am we were asleep and the fire alarm went off about 3-4times and we ran out of the room took the stairs from the 10th floor downstairs to only find out it was a false alarm and the security guard was laughing at us. This is absolutely the LAST time I ever stay in this hotel. Venetian is always a good idea and the beauty of that hotel is not replaceable.
