| - We had a 3 day event here, and overall, the venue and accommodations were solid, save for a few microphone hitches and pretty lackluster food. Breakfast was your standard eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and waffles. Lunch was slightly dry roasted chicken, beef over couscous, cod in a tomato-based sauce, and dried pita with a mix of hummus/baba ghanoush/tzaziki. Edible enough but not exactly tasty.
The venues themselves were solid and the meetings well-orchestrated. The accommodations in the Paradise Tower were also solid with a large room, double closet, minibar, and double sinks. A mini-fridge will cost an extra $20, and there is no coffee machine. Also - the gym is only open from 6 am - 7 pm so getting in a workout can be challenging; it is also very small with 4 treadmills and 2 ellipticals.
Overall, it's a decent hotel but it is off-strip and a 10-15 min drive to the strip. The Magic Mike show is worth seeing but other than that, your options are pretty limited and the hotel itself is on the small side compared to those on the strip. It's not bad for a corporate event but not my pick for a true Las Vegas experience.
