While the bar and restaurant were truly a beautiful space the service really turned me off to this place. The whole event seemed unorganized and fl2 completely unprepared and the bartenders totally unwelcoming to our group. The male bartender completely ignored us if we had a free ticket and even though it took 3 separate tries and a total of about 40 min I was able to finally get a drink from the female bartender- which if I'm being honest- was not worth the wait but it might've been the sour attitude that made it not so tasty. It's not like I wouldn't have tipped but it was a real struggle and it seemed like they were actively trying to be rude by avoiding us so I didn't tip but I would've! It was not a good look for them and made me not want to return.
While I appreciate the opportunity to check out a new place through yelp I really felt unwelcomed and more like we were a bother - I really don't know why they hosted if they didn't want us there. Out of the 5 things we sampled I enjoyed the chick pea bite as well as the pork belly bite - although I don't think they're on the menu anyway but they should be because they were good.
Thanks Rachel for the work you put into organizing and the opportunity to see the beautiful restaurant and see my old and make new yelp friends! I hate to leave a bad review and I feel like it was no fault of Rachel's at all - I wish it was a better experience because I would love to support fl2.
