My husband and I visited Dandelion Market around 10:45 pm on a Thursday night. We were staying in the area for a long weekend and I discovered it on yelp while simultaneously having drinks at TILT and seacrhing for a place nearby that we could grab a late dinner.
The atmosphere of Dandelion Market is small, cozy, dark, and inviting. Our server was really sweet and did a great job of tolerating my slightly inebriated husband and myself. This is a tapas style restaurant so we ordered abottle of wine and several small plates to share. We enjoyed the cheese plate, prosciutto crostini, sausage stuffed poblano, mac and cheese, and the seared ahi tuna. Everything we had was absolutely delicious; I especially liked the prosciutto crostini, which was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. My husband really enjoyed the mac and cheese, which tasted like the roux was made with bacon drippings. We both agreed we would return here the next time we visit Charlotte--it's a great date night spot!
