  • I must agree w/ Roy S, who first reviewed this market. We have stopped here many times over the years to buy produce and I like the mix of local fruit and vegetables along w/ produce grown elsewhere. It's a traditional roadside market rather than a farmers market w/ individual stands. The produce here is less cosmetically perfect than at Harry and David's a few miles down the road. This produce reminds me of the Harry and David's of the old days, when it was housed in the shed and the stuff they sold was slightly imperfect and utterly delicious. Prices are also very reasonable. Today I bought Washington cherries, local peaches and nectarines and was tempted by baskets of tiny, beautiful locally grown cherry tomatoes. I'm thinking this market may have changed hands in the past few years because the packaged goods are more varied, interesting and healthy than they used to be. There are organic foods, teas, bulk dried fruit and nuts, grains and cereals. There are artisan chocolate bars and packaged candies, ginger and otherwise.
