  • I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done. Dr. Leof was going to fill a couple of cavities as a start. She gave me some novocaine, I was all numbed up and ready for work. I sat in the chair. An hour went past. Dr. Leof alternated between trying to upsell a patient on my left for additional work, to trying to reserve a party boat for July 4 on my right. I heard these two conversations going on for about an hour or longer. Eventually she came in and started work on me. By that time the novocaine had worn off, and I was in pain. Dr. Leof admonished me for being too sensitive. This was about 15 years ago. I haven't been to a dentist since. That's on me. I understand that all dentists aren't at fucked up as Dr. Leof.
