| - I came in at 9pm to get my first tattoo besides the only other I had from 10 years prior. Artists were very friendly. I had been wanting to get a tree of life for the last 5 years but hadn't had the gusto to go get it done. The first artist to help me and a friend took a look at the design I wanted and said I would have to come back the next day, but luckily another said he could get it done for me that night. The artist who very patiently assisted me in finalizing the design and helping me was Hora. I felt very comfortable and right at home discussing where it should go and the size, he was very honest and caring. He went over everything with me very patiently seeing as the last time I got a tattoo, we determined they had a heavy hand and made it hurt more than normal. The design ended up taking twice as long than anticipated yet he showed no irritation or did he rush to get me finished. He took his time, was very serious about his work and made sure that it came out perfect. I went back to see him the following day and he was critiquing his work and offering to fix the design which I don't find any fault in, its beautiful. I guess that is how you can tell you truly had an artist work on you. I will be getting any further tattoos from Hora, and no one else. He is now working for designs for my husbands sleeves to start in September. During my tattoo I learned that he attended art school, was very cultured, enlightened, and had dreamed of being behind an easel overlooking the city of new york in his younger days. Totally not what I expected to discover, and I feel honored to have met someone like him. I definitely recommend Hora for your next piece, and if you are looking to discuss color options there was someone who had aqua tattoos on his face who was so helpful :)
