  • Oh look. The escalator is broken again. How the mighty have fallen. When this theatre first opened it was a gem. It had an IMAX that wasn't showing nature programming, the decor was pretty cool with its Egyptian theme, and though it was always super busy, there was a ton of staff to move everyone through the concession lines. Over the years the concession vendors have changed from individual retailers to almost everything being Cinexplex branded and owned. They've added an AVX theatre but even that one is starting to show some wear on the most popular seats. I realize that margins are slim in this game, but they need to pump some money into this multiplex. It has the Scotiabank branding which means its supposed to be the featured theatre in the city. With AMC recently pulling out of Canada Cineplex has to be making more money, especially considering they took over a bunch of AMC locations. Also, why is there no Time Play at this location before the movie starts? I want to win me some Scene points or a freebie at the concession.
