  • I drove from California to Las Vegas on Friday, and about halfway there my car's A/C died. Can you imagine driving across the Mojave in 100+ temperatures without air conditioning? Not fun! So the thought of having to drive back across the Mojave to get home was quite unpleasant. I could take a chance and get it fixed by someone I didn't know, or I could make that miserable drive so I could bring my car to my trusted repair shop. I decided to take a chance on the Superior Tire located on Oso Blanca Road because I had a coupon for a free inspection with a small discount. I drove the car there and waited in the waiting room while they inspected my car. Then Rick came to the waiting room to let me know what was going on. My A/C compressor had completely fallen apart. This meant I needed a new compressor kit. Yes, the entire kit, because when the A/C fell apart it damaged everything associated with it. This wasn't going to be cheap. I asked Rick if there was anything he could do to help me with the cost, since was was kind of broke just then. Rick was very kind and sympathetic. He promised he would do what he could to help me out. Then their driver drove me back to my dad's house. Since I had some time, I called my mechanic and explained what was going on. I told him what Superior Tire was going to charge me for it, so my mechanic looked up how much they would charge for the same service. He told me that Superior Tire was charging a very reasonable price. Good to know! About 6 hours later, my car was ready, and the driver came back to pick me up so I could pay the bill and take my car. Everyone I dealt with at Superior Tire was helpful, friendly and professional. The A/C works great now. And the best part? Rick was able to give me a $100 discount! So would I recommend you use their services? Absolutely!!! Thank you Rick!
