  • Diamond is a staple in Charlotte. It's a classic diner with an old school feel. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. My go to is the pimento cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries come in a huge basket for sharing. Their pimento cheese in general is amazinnngggg! They have a variety of options for drinks. $5.00 mimosas on saturdays. There is a patio out front to enjoy food and drinks as well. A couple of tips: 1) As a warning the parking lot is small and there isn't usually open spots. 2) Good to know is that they are open very late on the weekends so this is a good option instead of fast food!
