We had a very uneven experience at Buddy V's. The room was nice, but you really want a booth, as the tables had very uncomfortable-looking, unpadded chairs. Service was scattered and disorganized. Our server, Kacie, while very nice, seemed to be kinda all over the place, we had just sat down when she asked us if we were ready to order (??) and the bread service didn't arrive til after the entrees were served -- disappointing, as the restaurant had been open for long enough to smooth out those kinds of issues.
On the bright side, the food was excellent, we started with the meatballs, which were surprisingly light and tasty, with a nicely seasoned red sauce. I had the whole wheat penne pasta with pesto and veggies, delicious with a lot of flavor but still light. Hubby had the shrimp scampi with perfectly cooked shrimp and angel hair pasta and a light and flavorful sauce.
The prices were pretty good for Vegas so we felt we had a good value, but it was really too bad that the overall experience didn't match the quality of the food. With so many options in Vegas, I doubt we would be back.
