  • I felt dishonest even giving this company ONE star. They deserve to be put out of business, in fact, I'd barely call this group of insolent, irresponsible people a "business." I booked a pretty easy move with them--from my storage unit to my house--and selected the 1:30 PM time slot on the website. Shortly thereafter a representative, Rachel, called me to go over everything with me and give me an estimate. She then told me the movers would be there between 12 and 1. Fine. Today the movers called me at 10 a.m. saying they'd be at the storage place in half an hour. I was pretty annoyed since initially wanted the move at 1:30 p.m. and now they wanted to push it up 3 hours because it was easier for them? I complained to the "man" (you will soon understand why this is in quotes) I was speaking with and he told me that was the time he was told. Bullshit. This company uses an online schedule generator service. Unless the scheduler they use is as incompetent as they are, this dickhead was lying. So, I called back and spoke with Rachel who told me that I should be ready (the movers being early is my fault now?) and that sometimes they finish early. I know this. I've lived in 4 different cities in the past 5 years, moved at least twice in each city, and every single time I've used movers. I know how it works (UNLIKE THIS "COMPANY"), which is why the customer is given a time slot. She then gave me a heaping load of blame shifting bull sh*t, did not even apologize, during which I hung up. I just wanted to get this move done. Luckily, I had the prescience to look at their website again, which is now aaaserviceslv.com, and noticed in tiny print that I would have to drive the truck. WTF. What in the actual f*ck? I'm supposed to drive a giant moving truck? I called back to cancel. First time, went to voice mail. Next few times after that, a couple rings then voice mail. So, I called from a different number and Rachel picked up right away. I said "I see you'll answer me if I use a different number. Smart." then went on to berate her about having to drive the truck. She said she told me about it over the phone. WRONG. What she said was "You'll have to be in front of the truck" but never "YOU WILL HAVE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK YOURSELF." This is so any damages done to your possessions, their truck, or any passengers in that truck are the customers fault, not the company's. I then cancelled, told her off a bit more and hung up. About 5 minutes later, I got a message from a blocked number (the people who work here are GENIUSES!) which I let go to voice mail. Lo and behold, it was presumably the "man" who would have been my mover, and his message said "I'm going to post your phone number all over CraigsList you f*cking bitch if this is how you treat businesses." Oh boy. I'm afraid that's illegal. I guess no one ever told him that simply blocking your number does not make it untraceable. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with this gem here, Better Business Bureau maybe? Use the new anti-bullying laws against them? For now, I'll let these load of idiots take their "business" down themselves with their own preposterously bad practices, childish incompetence, and sh*t trail of dissatisfied customers. I mean, we're dealing with a bunch of sorry excuses for people who shouldn't have been allowed to be born. Let's all watch them fail on their own. [Cue round of applause.]
